Dunster Harvesting is a proud Tūrangi-based, whānau-led forestry and tree services business serving the broader Central Plateau region.
We built Dunster Harvesting ground up, on hard work, practical experience and a genuine commitment to looking after the whenua.

What We Do
Forest harvesting is at the heart of what we do.

Commercial forest harvesting
Small woodlot harvesting
Mechanised felling, extraction and processing
Log recovery, sales and marketing
Harvesting site clean-up and land clearing
Hazardous and storm-damaged tree removal
Alongside our harvesting work, we also provide selected tree and hedge-clearing services. Firewood is produced from suitable recovered wood and is available for local purchase and delivery when supply allows.
Every forest, woodlot and property is different. We’re happy to visit the site, discuss what you need and work through the safest and most practical approach.

Section Clean-ups
We tidy up gardens and sections, removing green waste and leaving the site clean and manageable.
Firewood Delivery
We supply a mix of quality firewood and deliver to Taupo, Turangi, Waimarino, with stacking available if needed. FREE Turangi Delivery!
Forestry Harvesting
We harvest small private woodlots, recover logs, organise cartage, and handle log sales where viable
Branch + Hedge Trimming
